Weekend

My weekend started on Thursday. I did not watch the new episode of Lost. Although I did go to Illmatic at Nextdoor, the new monthly 90's jump-off (every last Thursday?). The turn-out was pretty good considering there wasn't much promo on this. DJ's Zack Morse, Compose, Delve & Jrama were nothing short of amazing. Next month should be even more killer. Casual (of Hieroglyphics) will be in the building and Kid Robot will unveil their collaboration with legendary artist, East 3. More info to come.



I've been DJ'ing Soul Clap at 39 Hotel. Shout to Eskae for letting the bol get down. I played a few cuts from the new Super Handsome mix I recently wrapped up for KICKS/HI. I Also played Damaged by Danity Kane for my girlfriend even though she wasn't there. Jami, Jimmy-Browskee, and Capski were in there too tearing shit up! Check out some flicks from Capski.

Every Saturday night (Sunday morning) from 2-4am I DJ at The Lounge at Venus Lounge. Not to be confused with Venus nightclub where Saturday host their All Male Revue. We are in the bar on the corner. Shout to Jarred, Reno and Blaise for letting the kid play whatever the fuck I want. I spazzed on my set. I Think I was just trying to show off in-front of my lady. I did play Damaged again.

Sunday, day of rest. Not! We're doing renovations on the house and today they were finishing up with the drywall in my room. 8am. 8am! I went to sleep at 6am fam! I Gotta give it up for Manuel and his pops (family friends and also our contractor). They Do Work, son. Word to Big Black.

Other then that it was pretty mellow yellow today. Had some dim sum in Chinatown. Messed with David's new camera. I was going to post some of the pictures we took but I'm lazy and it's 6am fam!
